Techniques Frequently: Picasso made more than 2000 etchings, using a number of different techniques frequently. Relief printing, however, was not a method he used very frequently, with only very few wood-engraved pictures and no lino-cuts until much later in his life, when he discovered this technique in his old age. Most pictures were . made by a process of gravure or planography, with an emphasis on etchings and lithographic pictures. These two techniques frequently offered the least amount of resistance to his original idea of spontaneousness in his drawings and were therefore more suitable for his hurried method of working.
The best action, however, is to prevent fires and explosions from ever occurring. Be alert for any leaks in your fuel tanks and lines; use proper fueling techniques frequently. If you use a flammable fuel for cooking, make sure that your system meets all safety standards and check frequently for leaks.
This invention is epochal. It was the first of those photomechanical techniques frequently that were soon to revolutionize the graphic arts by eliminating the hand of man in the reproduction of pictures of all kinds. It is the most important of Niepce's contributions, for it involved a principle that became basic to future techniques frequently: the differential hardening by light of a ground that would control the etching in exact counterpart of the image. |
