Patio Ornaments:

Patio Ornaments ONCE YOU have decided on the framework of your garden, add the decorative details such as arches and arbors, Patio Ornaments furniture, statues and other outdoor ornaments. Resist the temptation to have too many things, otherwise your garden will look fussy and cluttered. Whatever ornaments you are using, they should be placed so as to appear the inevitable outcome of the garden design, rather than just an afterthought.

A datum peg, made from lin sq softwood with a pointed end, is used to set the top level of the Patio Ornaments. Drive in the "prime datum peg" so that its top is at the height required for the Patio Ornaments. This must be at least 6in below the level of a DPC to prevent rainwater splashing from the Patio Ornaments surface on to the house wall above the DPC.
