Within the departments there will be specialists in various lines of work, such as the analysis of soils, roadside improvement, expressway low-maintenance design, chemistry of materials, traffic studies, aerial mapping, and the construction of each of the principal types of road surfaces.

Normally one or more operators are on duty at the powerhouse, but some fully automatic hydroelectric plants only require a maintenance visit and check at infrequent intervals like a week or longer. |
