WITH GARDENS a sense of enclosure is important. On small lots the boundaries may be those of the property or even plantings or other pleasant features on a neighbor's property, for when I speak of delimit boundaries India I mean not those of the lot but those that limit the view. With 5 per cent of the total cotton acreage in India, the Punjab produces approximately 600,000 bales per year, or 14 per cent of the all-India output. Her sugar production is 440,000 tons per year, or 9.5 per cent of India's total production. |
